Marine nature reserve (designated 1993) in Baie du Prony, commune of Mont-Dore, in the south-eastern lagoon, protecting a notable underwater 'needle' formation and rich marine life. As a Province Sud réserve naturelle, all fishing including spearfishing and gear detention are prohibited; diving/snorkelling allowed.
