Marine protected area (created 1989, ~149 ha) around Îlot Larégnère, in the Nouméa lagoon between Nouméa and the Grand Récif Aboré. Classified a réserve naturelle where fishing and hunting (including spearfishing) and collection are prohibited; swimming, diving and picnicking are allowed.
