Marine nature reserve (réserve naturelle, ~2,980 ha, created 1989) in the Ouano lagoon at La Foa, including îlot Konduyo, protecting reef formations and nesting seabirds. As a Province Sud réserve naturelle all fishing including spearfishing, hunting and collection are prohibited.
