Integral marine reserve (~45 ha, created 1995) on the Sèche-Croissant reef/sandbank off Nouméa near Îlot Maître, protecting seabirds. As an integral reserve, all entry is prohibited year-round (with a 200 m buffer zone); fishing, including spearfishing, and detention of fishing/spearfishing gear are forbidden.
