How spearfishing is treated at Réserve naturelle intégrale Yves Merlet.

Integral marine nature reserve (~16,700-17,000 ha) in the south-eastern lagoon between the Canal de la Havannah and the passe de la Sarcelle. All access and all fishing by any means (boat or on foot), hunting and underwater exploration are prohibited year-round, with a 500 m buffer zone. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage lagoon.
