How spearfishing is treated at Isla Bastimentos National Marine Park (Parque Nacional Marino Isla Bastimentos).
Panama's first marine national park (created 1988), 13,226 ha (11,598 ha marine) in the Bocas del Toro archipelago on the Caribbean coast, protecting Caribbean mangroves, seagrass and coral reefs. Managed by the national environment authority (MiAmbiente, formerly ANAM); MiAmbiente confirms hunting, fishing and collecting are prohibited inside the park without authorization.
