Sector of the Reserva Nacional Sistema de Islas, Islotes y Puntas Guaneras off Callao (created 31 Dec 2009 by D.S. 024-2009-MINAM), comprising the Cavinzas and Palomino islets in their entirety plus the surrounding marine volume defined by a 4-vertex UTM polygon down to the seabed (expressly excluding San Lorenzo and El Frontón islands). Sport/recreational fishing (which covers spearfishing) inside the reserve requires inscription in SERNANP's sport-fishing registry (art. 8) and is subject to the reserve's management documents, which set permitted gear, minimum sizes, closed periods and geographic prohibitions (art. 6).
