How spearfishing is treated at Sistema de Islas, Islotes y Puntas Guaneras (Reserva Nacional).

Network national reserve created 31 Dec 2009 by D.S. 024-2009-MINAM, comprising 22 guano islands/islets and 11 coastal points along the entire Peruvian coast, each protected together with its surrounding marine belt down to the seabed. Sport/recreational fishing (which covers spearfishing) anywhere inside the reserve requires inscription in SERNANP's sport-fishing registry (art. 8) and is subject to the reserve's zonification and management documents (art. 6).
