Overview
How spearfishing is treated at Cetacean / marine mammal sanctuary.
French Polynesia's internal waters, territorial sea and EEZ form a sanctuary for whales and other marine mammals; lagoons and bays (e.g. Opunohu, Haumi and Matauvau passes on Moorea) are designated rest/reception sites for cetaceans (Moorea PGEM Art. 43-44).
