Reef-platform zone de protection renforcée (Niveau 2) of the Réserve Naturelle Marine de La Réunion at the northern end of the reserve, off the coast between Cap La Houssaye (Saint-Paul) and Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, taking in the Boucan Canot and Roches Noires reef. Spearfishing (pêche sous-marine) is prohibited in the reinforced-protection zones under Article 21 of Décret n° 2007-236; the foëne is banned reserve-wide and it is also forbidden to cross the zone carrying a loaded speargun. Defined by decree boundary points PGR, BGR1–BGR3, BR1 and PR10.
