Krajinski park Sečoveljske soline (Sečovlje Salina Nature Park) at the SW end of the Slovenian coast around the Drnica stream / Sečovlje saltpans and the Bay of Piran near the Croatian border. The park includes a marine area divided into conservation zones. Per the official Slovenian e-government (eUprava) fishing-restrictions FAQ, sport fishing is prohibited in the park, and in the first protection zone all water sports and recreational activities are banned; spearfishing falls under the national ban on fishing in protected areas. Verify exact marine-zone boundaries before diving.
