Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Elkhorn Slough State Marine Conservation Area (California).

Elkhorn Slough east of the Highway 1 bridge and west of longitude 121°46.400' W, Monterey County (0.22 sq mi), adjoining the Elkhorn Slough State Marine Reserve. The only permitted take is finfish by hook-and-line only, plus clams on the north shore beside the Moss Landing State Wildlife Area. Spearfishing is prohibited.
