Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Navarro River Estuary State Marine Conservation Area (California).

The Navarro River estuary at Navarro-by-the-Sea, Mendocino County (0.09 sq mi). The sole take exception is the recreational take of salmonids by hook and line under the Section 7.50 salmonid regulations. Spearfishing is not permitted, and 14 CCR §28.90 separately forbids taking salmon or trout by spear anywhere in the state.
