SMCA off Pillar Point and Mavericks, San Mateo County (6.70 sq mi). Recreational take is limited to pelagic finfish by trolling, Dungeness crab by trap, and market squid by hand-held dip net. The trolling restriction on the finfish carve-out means spearfishing is prohibited inside the SMCA.
