Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Point Reyes State Marine Conservation Area (California).

Offshore SMCA west of Point Reyes and the Point Reyes State Marine Reserve, Marin County (12.27 sq mi). Only salmon (recreationally by trolling, commercially by troll gear) and Dungeness crab by trap may be taken. Spearfishing is not authorised, and salmon may not be speared in California in any event.
