How spearfishing is treated at Robert W. Crown State Marine Conservation Area (California).
A narrow San Francisco Bay strip off Robert W. Crown Memorial State Beach, Alameda (0.01 sq mi), running from the mean high tide line to 150 feet seaward of mean lower low water. Recreational take is permitted only by hook and line, so recreational spearfishing is prohibited (the separate commercial finfish and kelp carve-out does not authorise recreational diving take).
