Overview

How spearfishing is treated at Saltwater State Park Marine Preserve (Des Moines, Washington).

The waters, bedlands and tidelands off Saltwater State Park on central Puget Sound, one of the busiest shore dives in the state. WAC 220-305-080(2)(g) closes the preserve to all recreational harvest — there is no species or gear exception at all — so spearfishing is prohibited. The boundary is given as a vertex list in WAC 220-302-090.
