Southeast Farallon Island Special Closure (California)

No-entry closure in the 300-foot water band around Southeast Farallon Island and its islets. Under 14 CCR 632(b)(55) the band is closed year-round except two stretches - north of Fisherman's Bay and at East Landing - and two further stretches (Fisherman's Bay to East Landing, and south-west of East Landing including the south-east side of Saddle/Seal Rock) are closed only from 1 December to 14 September. Subsection (D) forbids any person from entering the areas defined in (B) or (C) during the closure period, so spearfishing in the band is unlawful whenever the relevant stretch is closed. The pin sits on the west side of the island, in the part closed all year; the whole island is also inside the Southeast Farallon Island SMR/SMCA.
