How spearfishing is treated at Titlow Beach Marine Preserve (Tacoma Narrows, Washington).

Titlow Beach, a heavily used shore dive on the Tacoma Narrows, is a WDFW Marine Preserve. WAC 220-305-080(2)(d) closes it to the recreational harvest of all fish; the single exception is salmon on artificial lures from shore or a non-motorized vessel, and a speargun is neither. Washington separately forbids spearing salmon at all (WAC 220-310-120(1) and 220-310-130), so no lawful spearfishing is possible inside the preserve. The area is defined by WAC 220-302-110.
