Overview

How spearfishing is treated at White Rock (Cambria) State Marine Conservation Area (California).

SMCA off White Rock, Cambria, San Luis Obispo County (2.91 sq mi). The single exception in 14 CCR §632(b)(90)(B) is a licensed commercial hand harvest of giant and bull kelp from Administrative Kelp Bed 208 (125 tons per calendar month maximum). No recreational take of any kind is permitted, so spearfishing is prohibited.
