Palaia Epidavros sunken city underwater archaeological site (Argolida)

The sunken city of ancient Epidauros — the sea from the Valtos locality in Epidauros bay to Verdeleika in the bay of Agios Vlassis at Palaia Epidavros, several kilometres of coast — is a declared underwater archaeological site. Spearfishing, towed-gear fishing, mechanical shellfish harvesting and sponge fishing are prohibited there under KYA ΦΕΚ 336 Β΄/2004 art. Α§2(δ), as listed on the Corinth Port Authority's register.
