Sanctuary Zone 12 (SZ-12), Encounter Marine Park (South Australia)

No-take sanctuary zone of the Encounter Marine Park, declared under the Marine Parks Act 2007 (SA) and given effect by the Marine Parks (Zoning) Regulations 2012. Sanctuary rules prohibit removing or harming any plant or animal in the zone, so no fishing of any kind — spearfishing included — may be carried on there; the Department for Environment and Water's official zoning table lists spear fishing as not allowed in a sanctuary zone. Diving, snorkelling, swimming, boating and anchoring stay permitted, and a vessel may transit the zone. This is a small (~0.5 km2) four-vertex sanctuary zone on the southern Adelaide metropolitan coast, off Port Stanvac. The Department for Environment and Water's own marine park zoning layer names it 'Port Stanvac'; it post-dates the 2016 DEW sanctuary-zone booklet, which is why the name is absent from that publication.
