Zona vedada del Cap Negre al Pa de Pessic - Reserva Marina de Ses Negres (Begur, Catalonia)

A closed marine area off Begur, between the ses Negres headland (Cap Negre) and Pa de Pessic, created by the Ordre de 3 de marc de 1993 (DOGC 1725, 24-03-1993): roughly 1.1 km of coast reaching about 200 m offshore. Article 1.1 prohibits fishing in every one of its forms and the extraction of any living marine resource, recreational as well as professional, inside the six-vertex area it delimits; only scientific extraction expressly authorised by the fisheries directorate is exempt (art. 1.2). Article 2 additionally bans scuba diving, anchoring and the navigation of vessels except in case of force majeure, and art. 3 empowers the fisheries directorate to designate specific bathing areas inside the closure. Spearfishing is therefore banned throughout.
