Parque Marino Islas Diego Ramírez y Paso Drake (Diego Ramírez Islands & Drake Passage Marine Park)

Chile's southernmost marine protected area, surrounding the Diego Ramírez archipelago and the Drake Passage seamounts (incl. Monte Sars), created by D.S. N°9/2018 of the Ministerio del Medio Ambiente (144,390.6 km², 100% marine; redesignated a national park in 2025 while keeping the same boundary). As a Chilean Parque Marino, no activity may be carried out inside it except activities authorized for observation, research or study — extractive fishing, including spearfishing, is prohibited.
