Ancient Asini underwater archaeological site (Tolo, Argolida)

The sea in front of ancient Asini, from 50 m north-east of the Psili Ammos stream at Tolo to the mouth of the Daphnopotamos river, is a declared underwater archaeological site. Spearfishing, towed-gear fishing, mechanical shellfish harvesting and sponge fishing are prohibited there under art. Α §2(δ) of ΚΥΑ ΥΠΠΟ/ΓΔΑΠΚ/ΑΡΧ/Α1/Φ41/11228/1865 of 9 February 2004 (ΦΕΚ 336 Β΄/2004). The Nafplio Port Authority register, which states this extent verbatim, misprints the instrument as «Φ43/11228/1685» and dates it 13-01-2004; the gazette’s own number and date are used here.
