Raja Ampat - Kofiau & Boo Islands MPA (no-take core zone)

Gazetted Raja Ampat marine protected area (~137,000-149,000 ha) at the archipelago's western frontier, comprising the Kofiau Islands and the Boo Islands (44 islets). As part of the Raja Ampat MPA network it contains Core / No-Take zones where all fishing is prohibited, and spearfishing by tourists/visitors is prohibited throughout the network.
