AMP Isola di Ustica — Zona A di riserva integrale (Punta dello Spalmatore - Punta Megna)

Fully protected core zone (zona A) of the Isola di Ustica MPA: a strip of sea about 350 m wide along the western coast of Ustica, running from the first promontory just north of Punta dello Spalmatore up to the promontory of Punta Megna (about 60 ha, down to roughly the 30 m isobath). Under the founding decree of 12 November 1986 all professional and recreational fishing by any means is forbidden here, together with navigation, access, mooring, bathing and diving.
