AMP Isole Tremiti — Zona B di riserva generale (Isola di San Domino, dal faro di Punta Provvidenza a Punta Secca)

The stretch of sea off the west side of San Domino, between the Punta Provvidenza lighthouse and Punta Secca, is the second zona B of the Isole Tremiti marine protected area. Under the decree of 14 July 1989 any form of fishing or taking by divers, with or without breathing apparatus, is forbidden there, and the managing body may only authorise fishing with fixed or trolled lines — spearfishing is therefore prohibited.
