Parco Nazionale dell'Arcipelago Toscano — Area naturale marina di interesse nazionale (fascia di un miglio intorno all'Isola di Pianosa)

A one-nautical-mile belt of sea all around the island of Pianosa where every form of fishing, professional or sport, as well as bathing and the transit of any vessel, is prohibited (D.M. 19 dicembre 1997, G.U. n. 1 of 2/1/1998). Only service, surveillance, research, scheduled-link and residents' vessels may enter; the National Park authority issues any derogations. The Park classes this belt as 'zona 1' and states that fishing cannot be allowed there.
