Masoala-Ambodilaitry Marine Park (Masoala National Park)

The southern of the three marine parks of Masoala National Park (Parc National, Décret n° 97-141 of 2 March 1997), a detached marine parcel off Ambodilaitra near Cap Masoala (Vinanivao, Antalaha district), listed on the official SAPM portal as the 'Parcelle détachée marine Ambodilaitra-Masoala'. As a Parc National under COAP (Loi 2015-005), hunting and the capture of animals are prohibited over the entire extent of the park (Art. 14), sustainable-use rights do not apply over the whole extent of a Parc National (Art. 39), and chasse sous-marine (spearfishing) without the conforming opinion of the manager and the Ministry is an offence (Art. 55 §21). Spearfishing is not permitted.
