Cape Falcon Shoreside Marine Protected Area (Oregon)

A narrow shoreside strip (about 2.2 km long and only ~220 m wide) along the coast north of Cape Falcon, Tillamook County, bounded landward by the extreme low water line. OAR 635-012-0150(1) prohibits the "Take of any fish species"; the single allowance in section (2) is recreational hook-and-line fishing from the bank. A diver in the water may not take fish here by any means, so spearfishing is prohibited.
