Z's Reef Marine Preserve (Fox Island, Washington)

Z's Reef, a subtidal reef off the north-east side of Fox Island in south Puget Sound, is a WDFW Marine Preserve. WAC 220-305-080(2)(e) closes it to the recreational harvest of all fish; the single exception is salmon on fly-fishing gear, and a speargun is neither. Washington separately forbids spearing salmon at all (WAC 220-310-120(1) and 220-310-130), so no lawful spearfishing is possible inside the preserve. The area is defined by WAC 220-302-120.
